*blows dust off unfinished NaNoWriMo novel*

19 chapters, 15,533 words. No title. I have a number of chapters telling the story one way and others telling it another. Then there’s a chapter with two characters telling the same story from their own POVs. At the same time! Which way this will go is anyone’s guess. Yet again, the muses are in the drivers seat.

Hurry Up Spring!
Jan 14th, 2006 by Babs

It started Thursday, when I picked up some seeds on sale at Walgreens. Last night I went to Home Depot to get some fluorescent tubes for our bathroom and walked out with a pack of catnip seeds and some Burpee Greenhouses. When we drove by Mahoney’s today it took all my strength not to beg to stop and see if they’ve got their gardening section up yet.

For some folks it’s Christmas. For me it’s the day of the last hard frost. I love to garden! I love to plan out my sowing and transplanting schedule. I love to fill my buckets with the compost that’s been cooking all Fall and Winter, drop in a few seeds, and watch the magic! *bounces*

But, sadly, I’ve still got a little over a month before I can even start the lettuce indoors.

Hurry up!
