Just Sayin’…
Mar 26th, 2006 by Babs

With all the crappy movie remakes they’ve been making as of late. I have to wonder why no one has considered a movie of Knight Rider. I mean, think of all the cool shit they could do with KITT now.

Within the last 24 hours I met 3 sales goals!

Also, while checking referrers, I found this: http://tjic.com/blog/2005/10/06/freak

Gee, I wonder who he could be talking about? ;oP

For those of you who have never had the pleasure of knowing TJIC (which would probably be all of you, since none of you live in Arlington), he’s a FUCKING ASSHOLE who is against anything that remotely involves taxpayers paying for stuff he doesn’t need. He also likes to twist other people’s words around.

What did I really say regarding subsidized kindergarten? I had stated that free, full day, public school kindergarten should be made available to all in Arlington. We are now at a point in time where a kid who doesn’t attend preschool is considered behind (I should know, Jarret almost got kept back because we couldn’t afford preschool). Full day kindergarten should be mandatory for that reason. I also mentioned that I disliked the current method of obtaining a waiver to the fees that are being charged, because instead of asking for (and verifying) income informtion and family composition (which is what every one else asks for), Arlington Public Schools wants you to write a sob story as to why the fee should be waived for you. Then, if the Superintendant likes what you’ve written, you’re invited in so she can look you over. It’s like a dog show, with the Superintendant as the judge. It’s hard enough asking for help. I felt this was degrading.

Anyways, ending up in TJIC’s blog is like a major achievement. An honor. I feel all warm inside!

Marched in Machester, NH’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade with the Light Brigade yesterday. We managed to convince the parade staff to let us use our car as a courtesy vehicle. Glenn was supposed to hand out water, but Cathy and I removed the pile of coats that had made themselves at homein our “hatchback” just prior to stepping off, we discovered it was just too damn cold (27 degrees plus wind chill) to think about water.

Luckily we were in Divsion 2, so we only had to huddle together for an hour. The colorguard (all five of us) were hovering around SUVs to block the wind. Unfortunately the pickings started getting slim as the parade staff started ordering folks to remove their cars from the set up area.

When it was time to remove my jacket, I thanked the Lord and Lady, as I felt much warmer than I thought I would be. This lasted all of five minutes when the Gods apparently high-tailed it for warmer surroundings. My feet and face were both numb, and my fingers weren’t too far behind them. It’s very difficult to spin a flag with frozen fingers. Damn near impossible to do when it’s windy, too.

I suppose it could’ve been worse. We could’ve been the group of baton twirlers who had to strip down to what was basically a leotard and pantyhose (and not even the thick kind!). Glenn said he overheard someone from that group call out “chicken’s done!” *laughs*

Was Google-ing just a moment ago,’cause I like to see who else is using the term “bishi harem” since I kinda own “The Bishi Harem”. I came across this:

AdultFanFiction.Net ā€¢ .: Story :…. This pairing was requested by Babs (and I think her Bishi Harem had something to do with it! šŸ˜‰ ). So…here ya go. Squishy goodness! …
newaff.nexcess.net/aff/story.php?no=17398 – 20k – Supplemental Result –

The site no longer exists, and I don’t remember reading it! I could have. I just don’t remember doing so. Has AFF.net moved somewhere else? Not that that going to help me find this any easier.
