The car’s back. Got back Friday (almost wasn’t finished in time due to a part being stuck in traffic). My hunches about the were correct. Not only was it the reason the car wouldn’t go, but it was also the reason why the engine was knocking: it was getting too lean a mix. I’d bet we’ve seen the last of the engine light coming on after refueling, too.

Glenn has been a dick since Wednesday, when he forgot to have the car towed over to the mechanic, thus making us go another day without it. I had to make an emergency bike trip to Alewife (in 90 degree heat) to make sure Ben had enough funds on his Charlie Card to get to and from summer school. Last night I had the pleasure of the drunk picking me up at my friend’s house. He swore he had only had one beer. *I* can have one beer and still not make an ass out of myself. Surely someone who drinks every night can endure a beer without slurring, staggering, and swerving. This morning he spent an hour talking shit about my friends.

Just finished unclogging the bathroom sink. It was clogged because no one will listen to me and keep the stupid doo-hicky that opens and closes the drain in the sink. It’s now lost and with the drain open just about anything can fall down there. It’s been clogged a week because, apparently, I’m the only one who knows how to unclog a drain in this household. After 15 minutes of plunging I cleared it by pulling out a rubber glove. Fucktards!

I now have to exercise. After which I need to finish the laundry and cook dinner, before I head out to drum corps. practice, where I get the pleasure of seeing “the pot calling the kettle black” courtesy of my husband. *rolls eyes*
