Its status says it’s been shipped!!! *faints from the shock*

I guess they were able to meet the before-I-upgraded-the-video-card deadline after all. Just in the nick of time, too. I’m about to throw this piece of shit laptop against a wall. A big brick one. With spikes.

I suppose I better get my butt over to NewEgg and order my printer.

  Thanks! It’ll be so good to work with a real computer again. I still have to pick up a new network cable, and I may consider taking my modem into RCN for a trade up for one of the newer, faster ones. I don’t know if it’s the laptop or that the current modem can’t handle the faster transfer speeds, but I’m not getting anything near the speed I was quoted.
  
  By the way, do you know anything about the new Sims 2 software that’s being released tomorrow? I’m so far behind!

    The new pack is a “stuff” pack, as they say on the website. It’s basically more costumes and decor, with fantasy and pirate themes. There isn’t any new gameplay or anything, from what I can tell. I’m going to pass on it, because that’s something I just don’t care about.
    
    BTW, the naked skins I found did have painted-on peters. In case you’re interested. *g*
