Wrapped up Town Day making $65. That’s been my best for a table event. Spent it on a new aerator for my fishtank/prosperity altar. I also ordered some test strips. The brand I’m currently using does sucketh much. I need to give one of the pieces of Mopani wood a good scrubbing. It seems to have developed a fuzz. I do recall reading somewhere that it is harmless, the fish will even eat it, and may be related to the sap that also still oozes out, but I’m still going to clean it off, along with the rocks, so it will look nicer. Once the aerator arrives I might consider adding fish. The light fixture I have isn’t producing enough light to keep the plants from turning brown. Even plants that I’ve had for months are now turning. WTF? I even gave them food! Oh well. Untill I am able to afford the light strip I really want I may focus on the fish, adding a few plants here and there, so I’m not spending a lot on something that’s going to die quickly.

Weekly Weigh In
Sep 22nd, 2008 by Babs

First off, it’s been brought to my attention that someone has set up their site to automatically post excerpts from my site. While the Fair Use clause in the copyright law does allow for this, it also states that a commentary must also be included, which this lazy shit isn’t doing. So, unless you are reading this at A Web Site Created by Babs, please note that it is copyright 2008 A Web Site Created by Babs and is most likely being used without permission.

Secondly, no weight loss this week, so I didn’t bother to include the ticker. While I did get an hour of cardio in this week, I never seemed to have the time to fit in the strength training. And my toe would start to bother after each workout. As Town Day has been and gone I can now focus on things like exercise and housecleaning and hopefully the rest of the weight will come off. I will cry if I get stuck at another plateau!
