I have never seen such a panic! As much as I like Cartoon Network, I truly hope the state screws Turner Brodcasting for this act of stupidity.

After months of Lycos holding babspace.com hostage, it is now free. And I didn’t have to pay the $20 ransom, either. I did some digging and learned that Lycos Domains is a “partner” of Register.com, so I called them and explained how the transfer authorization code I was given was coming up invalid. Apparently Lycos deliberately keeps the authorizations local until you purchase a plan through them, so when Register.com got the request they knew nothing about it. The techie was nice enough to fix it for me. As of 9:50am was officially transferred to its new registry.

Go me!

It’s six days into the new year and I’ve still managed to stick with my New Year’s Resolution: Not to make any more resolutions. 🙂 Instead I’m focusing on continuing with stuff I started last year, some of which needed to be dusted off a bit before I could resume them.

I’m back on my “diet”. It’s in quotes because I’m one of those who feel that being lean is more important than being thin, and since the former requires well toned muscles I care more about the nine miles I walked thus far this week than the whipped cream topped french toast I had for dinner tonight.

Now that the holidays are over I got around to updating the software for my store. For those of you still running on ZC 1.3.0, be prepared to have to manually upgrade your database after upgrading the software to 1.3.6+. 😛 Although it didn’t take long for me to fix the problem, it was still a pain in the ass to deal with. I’m glad I waited. I’ll be spending the weekend juggling my studies with uploading new stuff to my site and writing up directions so the Twins can navigate the Light Brigade’s cpanel (they really have no fucking clue what they are doing) so I’m going to be busy busy busy.
