The brand new CD/DVD-RW in my new Dell started freezing up today while watching Gundam Wing. After spending nearly an hour speaking with a gentleman whose children I would glady bear, even if he’s only half as good looking as he sounds, it was decided that the drive is bad. I can still play CDs on it, but it has issues with DVDs. He’s sending out a new one which I will hopefully be installing on Monday. He wants me to call him back to talk me through it. I already know how to install a drive, but hey, any excuse, ya know?

On a totally unrelated note (or is it?) today is the day of the big happy happy joy joy raising of power for peace.
