A while back I joined Danny Phantom Slash on YahooGroups (yes, I DO know this really pushes the Mrs. Robinson envelope). It’s been relatively quite there, which is good as I think the G-boys have bound and gagged Danny, and locked him in a closet somewhere.

The first of this month this chick named Kate joins, and immediately starts begging for fic and art. After several weeks of this, I was forced to vent.

Obviously I didn’t expect her to read it, but I had hoped to at least be better able to cope with her after posting.

Did I mention I tend to be dilusional? Of course this time it might have something to the fact that she’s posted her requests 3 times in the last 4 days!

So, I thought I’d be generous and brought it to her.

Maybe that’ll bring some peace to the ML. )

I have been anxiously awaiting the final disc of the final season of Soap. I missed the last two seasons because the changes in the airing time comflicted with my schedule, so I really wanted to see this. I even put all the other videos to the side until I could view this one disc.

It was supposed to arrive Tuesday, along with H2G2, which actually arrived Thursday. I was hoping it would come today, but an email from Netflix tells me not to expect it, as they’ve just received it.

WTF?

There are two possibilities:
1. Post office mangled the envelope, ripping off my address and sent it to the only address they could find (Netflix). In that case, no fruitcake for them!

2. My next door neighbor went through my mail in the basket (my one arguement for the landlord getting bigger mailboxes) and decided to send it back for me, in which case he’s gonna get his ass kicked but good.

So now I have to wait for them to ship Fever Pitch (because I know they won’t read my email asking them to reship Soap in time), send it back, and then wait for them to ship Soap.

Argh!!!!!!!

Watching the news this morning there was mention of a ban on Hallowe’en in Newton, MA, for religious reasons. However, I cannot find anything on the station’s website, on any other station’s site, or on Google, to learn more about it.

Turkeys can’t fly. Not with a bullet in their brain.
