Remember that DVD burner I was going to install Tuesday? Well it installed fine, but the software was a different matter. Nero might have wonderful software, but it sure as hell doesn’t like my computer as it is now stuck in a rebooting loop. To make matters worse, my motherboard’s PS/2 ports went thpppppt! thus eliminating my one and only way of getting back into my computer to fix it.

I am now awaiting a new motherboard. Not sure how long that take, but I do know it’s going to cost some money that I can’t really spare right now. Once that’s installed we need to resutitate a spare hard drive, install XP onto it so we can save all the data on the other drive, then reformat and reinstall XP and all the junk. The irony here is that I bought the DVD burner for backup purposes.

For now I’m using the library’s computer. I can only get into my main account with RCN and my business account, so I’m limited contact wise.
