I forget to check my hit counter for a few days and when I finally remember I find it’s suddenly jumped several hundred hits! I can finally celebrate 10,000 unique hits (actually it was 10,029 when I checked)! *tosses confetti*

Once I’m done partying here I plan on going next door to dismantle a horn. Did I ever mention that I live next door to Arlington’s DPW? Actually I have the Minuteman bike path (formerly a raised railway) as a buffer, so it’s not so bad… unless Animal Control has caught a stray dog, and then I have to listen to the howling all night. Anyhow. Today the DPW is having an open house. Why? I have no fucking idea, but they are. And there must be a ton of little horn loving kids over there because someone keeps honking the horn to one of the big ass trucks! And occasionally one of the smaller ones, too. Little shits woke me up!

*watches at balloon on top of mason jar inflates* I give it fifteen minutes before lift-off.

In case you’re wondering what the hell I’m doing, I’m making dandelion wine. I’ve just set it up for the fermentation process, but since the Modern Brewer doesn’t carry 4 liter brewing jugs I’ve had to resort to a large mason jar. *images of moonshine run through my head* And I had to modify the balloon to fit over the mouth of said jar.

It now looks like a breast. And there she blows! LOL! It didn’t get much distance, though. I wonder if the local party shop carries larger balloons? I have to keep something over it so it doesn’t evaporate over the next three months.

A couple of weeks ago I was taping an ep of Power Rangers when my VCR decided to eat the tape. It then refused to rewind any other tape. So I pronounced it dead. It is 14 years old after all.

Glenn insists that the thing still works fine and proved it by taping a show on PBS. Then he decided to play my tape from DCA. My tape of the Light Brigade playing at the alumni show in Scranton, PA. My tape of my debut with the Light Brigade colorguard.
