We were discussing how we are going to create our virtual store.

As you may have read in one of my earlier entries, we decided to give Netflix a try. Well our two week free trial is over and I’m happy to say we are now paying members.
    The DVDs arrived the day before they said they would, and they were in good shape. It was nice to be able to watch them as often as we wanted without having to worry about when they were due back. We did have a problem with the wrong disk being in the Bend it Like Beckham sleeve but we had a fresh copy to watch a few days later.
    While they don’t have everything, I did find enough to create a 102 title queue (you can save up to 500 titles), and it’s the queue that I love the best! Every time I think of a movie, I add it to the queue, which I can rearrange whenever I want. That’s much easier than trying to remember the title until I can get to the local video store, if you ask me. Especially if the store doesn’t have the video in at the time. The only thing that I don’t like is that fact that multiple disk sets have their disks sent out individually, meaning that if you rent a movie with a bonus disk, and you want the bonus disk, you have to rent it separately.
    Netflix may not be the choice for those who require instant gratification, and if you need a specific movie by a certain date I would suggest you rent it a week or two in advance, just to make sure you got it and there are no problems (remember, no late fees). But I think that $20 a month (plus tax) for “unlimited” rentals (you are limited to three out at a time, but you can upgrade if you want more) and no late fees is terrific and definitely cheaper than my local video store. And they come in the mail, too! How great is that? *grin*
