In approximately 12 hours I will be on my way to Scranton, PA to participate in the DCA Alumni Corps Extravaganza (on Sunday). At our last practice they were still making adjustments, and I had to leave early, so Goddess knows what I may have missed. I hope whatever it is, it won’t be something I have to do repetitively a hundred times before I get it right, because I don’t have that kind of time!
    Everyone keeps asking me if I’m ready for the show. No! I’m the type who becomes so nervous that my brain shorts out. Maybe that’s why I never got the lead in any of the school plays I auditioned for. *grin* Basically, my money’s on my eating grass at some point before the Light Brigade finishes its show, and that’s thinking positive!
    Right now I’m taking a break from packing up orders to be shipped tomorrow morning. After I’m done here, Yusuke the betta will get a fresh bowl of water, and Brofather, Heero, Rufus, Wanda, LooChoo, Fez, Sanosuke, Kenshin, and Lizzie, the feng shui goldfish (doesn’t that sound like some Las Vegas act?) will get a partial water change. Then I will finish up my packing for the trip. Whee!
    *looks at time* I guess better get going, I should be in bed early as it’s a 5-6 hour trip and I’m navigating. I hope Sandy saves me some Jello shots from the bus!

Once again I was so busy I forgot about a good friend’s birthday. So I’d like to wish one of the founding members of the Oliverettes/Oliverettos, TJ, a very happy (even if belated) birthday!

Well that was an awfully short couple of weeks! I figured it would take me awhile to figure out how to change the font and add a background to my LJ, but it’s amazing what you can find out when you actually read the instructions. *grin*
    For those of you viewing this page through the official “What’s News” page of my web site, and wondering “What the fuck?”, I finally got my wish and now have a Live Journal to play with. I just spent the last hour or so moving all the old Tripod Blog entries over. I so love the fact that I can backdate entries!
    Rumor has it that once I’ve been a member of the community for a week I’ll get another LJ code. I’ll use that to move the Gen-X Essays over to LJ. Alas, I won’t be able to move Snappy Caps to LJ, but I will be creating a Tripod Blog for it. As much of a pain their blogs can be (currently I can’t delete any of my entries) they’re still better than ezboard. *shudders*

Well I’m off to make merry now. Everyone, behave!
